This council in the face of 1000's of Pitt Meadows residents now on the unemployment lines, is actually considering - on a mind-numbing staff recommendation - to spend $250,000 to beautify a South Bonson Roundabout.  This is simply throwing more money and projects to a certain councilor's neighborhood and a certain - and frequent speaker at council meetings, and dinner guest of this group - council campaign manager. First, they reduced the taxes in South Bonson - and Meachen participated in the vote, although directly benefitting from this tax reduction.  Now they are spending $250,000 of your money in the centre of his roundabout.  

And all by telephone vote!!  This group has finally reached the height of arrogance and have lost complete touch with many.  Clearly the reason this grassroots movement is gaining momentum - keep the information and support going - we need to take the City back from these spendaholics.
